Toyota Company produced three generations of Toyota MR2, a mid-engine, 2-passenger sports car. The first generation is introduced to America in 1985 and followed in 1991 by the second generation. The bigger and more powerful MR2 is equipped with a 200-horsepower turbocharged engine. Due to a decrease in sales, its production came to a halt in 1995. However after 5 years of remodeling, MR2 once again turn the heads of car enthusiasts with the renewed MR2 commonly known as the convertible spyder. Once again, Toyota regained fame in car market.
